Suspension Clamps

Suspension clamps or LV suspension assembly for self supporting ABC lines were developed to hang low voltage aerial cables, also called “French System”, which has 3 insulated aluminum conductor and 1 neutral messenger with insulation or 4 insulated conductor.

Suspension clamps for ABC mains and sub-mains, produced by Jera, can be installed:

LV-ABC lines of four or two core self-supporting cables
LV-ABC lines with insulated neutral messenger
LV-ABC lines with bare neutral messenger

The clamps are designed to be hanged to poles or walls during construction of LV insulated overhead systems. As a one-piece format, they remove all the problems of dropping components while installation process. LV suspension clamps are intended for use on straight runs and line deviation angles up to 90º.

LV-ABC suspension clamps are made of

-Corrosion resistant aluminum parts
-Galvanized or stainless steel hardware
-Weather and UV resistant fiberglass reinforced plastic parts

Different mount systems allow installation with the LV ABC hooks or LV brackets. LV ABC suspension clamps and LV ABC brackets are available either separately or together as assembly. All the assemblies passed the tensile tests, operation experience with temperatures ranging from –60 °C up to +60 °C test, temperature cycling test, aging test, corrosion resistance test etc.

This low voltage accessories conform to the standards NFC 33 040, CENELEC EN 50483-2.
