Insulated adapter PMCC also called PMCC earthing adapter, is primarily used for short-circuit or earthing operations in low-voltage aerial bundled cable (ABC) networks, and can also be used for voltage measurement.
TheseLV earthing adapters are installed on the tap-off side of an insulation piercing connector. The insulating cover is removed for access to the inside brass stud fitted with a bayonet lock . a hole drilled into the stud provides a reliable point of contact for voltage testing. The connection to earth is done by an insulated earthing equipment.
