SPECIFICATION
This Insulation piercing connector are suitable for majority types of LV ABC conductors as well as connections to service and lighting cable cores. When tightening the wing shear cap, the teeth of the contact plates penetrate the insulation and establish a perfect contact. The wing shear cap are tightened until the heads shear off.
ABC cable piercing connector is made of UV resistant polymer, has tin covered teeth, and stainless steel hardware. All jera produced insulation piecing connectors had passed tests according to EN 50483, operation experience with temperatures ranging from – 20 °C up to +50 °C test, temperature cycling test, aging test, corrosion resistance test etc.
