Application

Holding tool JTN-7-13 is designed for holding the IPC, during LV ABC cable deployment in of low voltage overhead cable grids, up to 1 KV. Mainly with power cables, overhead and outdoor connecting systems, street lighting, cable wires.

Key Installation steps

1.Unscrew the handle to fit the chosen LV insulation piercing connector (LV IPC).

2.Locate the LV IPC in the holding tool.

3.Gradually twist the hand until its proper holding of connector.

4.Locate the IPC with tool in perpendicular (mandatory) to main cable.

5.Use the tool by one hand and torque wrench by other hand to provide the convenience of installation.

6.When tightening the torque nut of IPC, do not rotate the IPC in any direction to the cable, except perpendicular. Keep it in this position.

7.Unscrew the handle after installation.
